I Passed "Hi friend,
I passed the written examination of CCIE RandS today. In my opinion, although the test is moderately difficult, it is actually mainly around the basic knowledge points.
I prepared my exams according to Lab Exam Blueprint on Cisco’s official Website. Obviously it is far from enough to understand all the points only through reading books. For me, theoretical learning combined with practical exercises will be more efficient.
Definitely, doing experiment is a better way, for it is more direct-viewing sometimes.
It costs me about two mouths for preparation. If you are going to take the exam, there is no harm to spend more time on preparation.

I Passed "Hi guys
I took the written examination of 350-001 on March 19, 2009 and scored 966/1000, which is comparatively satisfactory. I’d like to share my experience with you now.
All the points encountered in the exam are covered in the review notes, so I didn’t feel nervous during the examination.
The content of the routing remains to be the difficult part of the exam. I personally think the BGP is a little bit difficult, but most of the tests are basic questions. As long as you study hard during the stage of exam preparation, passing it should not be that difficult.
The two books Routing TCP/IP, Volume I, Second Edition and Routing TCP/IP, Volume II help me a lot during the preparation. There are detailed descriptions to the basic points in the books, which help me to understand well. I also do some tests to examine my mastery to the points besides books.
All in all, the preparation work in the prior period plays a decisive role in passing the final exam.

I passed the written examination of 350-001 finally, which makes me one step closer to my CCIE dream.

936/1000 may not be a high score, which, to some extend, might due to my too-fast answering speed. Otherwise I should be able to a get higher one.
The test is not very difficult. But do remember to pay more attention to each question. Don’t rush to answer the next one; because once you click the “next”, you can never backtrack. It is suggested that you spend more time in reviewing the content of routing. That’s the most important part in my opinion. Only if you have mastered all the points, that you can pass the examination.
I am going to prepare for my lab exams and wish I can make my dream come true soon.
