I Passed "Finally succeed!! Passed 642-812 scored 900.
I spent months to prepare for it. Of the 4 exams the BCMSN was the hardest to me.
If you are willing to put time,money,plus enough hard work you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
Good luck to everyone working on their CCNP still today.

Passed BCMSN Last Week "In my opinion it was just as hard as BSCI. I'm glad to have it over and done with. I mainly used the official cert guide and pass4sure simulations. Thanks to my friend Wayne who give me lots of advice. Without his help, I'll never get passed this exam.

I Passed My 642-812 Exam "It is really a tough exam.

I Just Passed The 642-812 "Harder than I thought. I have studied for this exam for nearly three months. It was worth that I finally passed it!
There was more detailed HSRP. So if anyone is going to take 642-812 be prepared for that. I won't get passed without lots of practice. Pass4sure simulations are good.

I took the exam 642-812 on 27th March, 2009 and scored 984/1000.
We should pay attention to the following aspects in the exam: 
1. Answering questions. Many people may not notice that once you click the “next”, you can never backtrack to the previous one.
2. The distribution of examination key points. They are mainly concentrated on the two parts of VLAN and STP. In fact, the exam is not difficult and not has much special complex knowledge, if you prepare carefully, it is easy to pass. In addition, I also use P4S tests and Lab Guide before the exam, they help me a lot.

I spent about five weeks on the exam, the first four weeks are mainly spent on the important knowledge of the exam to accumulate good theoretical basics. The last week was mainly spent on doing tests to examine how you master the knowledge points and know of the exam.

About the exam:

The time is very rich, so you should not be anxious to answer. I think passing the exam is easy if you prepare completely. The question is how much score you can get.

I think the most important chapters are Implement VLANs and Conduct the operation of Spanning Tree protocols in a hierarchical network. Of course, this is my understanding of the exam.

I passed the exam of 642-812 on 17th December,2008 and scored 942/1000.

Refer to the exam subjects, 85% are basic, 15% are a little difficult, but this will not affect your passing the exam.

I spent less time to prepare for the exam, so I have not mastered the knowledge points solidly. But I was so lucky that I used the P4S tests which deepened my understanding of HSRP and VRRP bothering me before.

So, I advise you to emphasize on the preparation, it is necessary to pass the exam successfully.
