I passed the BCMSN exam a few days ago. The exam is easier than expected. Personally speaking, I felt the most difficult chapter is Conduct the operation of Spanning Tree protocols in a hierarchical network. At the very start, I can’t understand the STP knowledge clearly. Then I gradually master it by doing P4S tests. I won’t worry about this knowledge any more for I have mastered the related knowledge completely. I begin to prepare for the next BSCI exam.

I am very pleased to share my exam experience with you here.

I took the exam 642-812 on 27th March, 2009 and scored 984/1000.

We should pay attention to the following aspects in the exam:

1. Answering questions. Many people may not notice that once you click the “next”, you can never backtrack to the previous one.

2. The distribution of examination key points. They are mainly concentrated on the two parts of VLAN and STP. In fact, the exam is not difficult and not has much special complex knowledge, if you prepare carefully, it is easy to pass. In addition, I also use P4S tests and Lab Guide before the exam, they help me a lot.

Last weekend, I passed my first CCNP exam of 642-812 and scored 924/1000. I felt great pressures although I have spent lots of time on the preparations for the exam. When entering the examination room, I was a little bit nervous. The exam is not very difficult; I knew I have passed the exam before I got the transcript. Generally speaking, the preparation before exam is important, the mental preparation is equally important. I advise you to prepare leisurely and not to review the training materials on the exam day. Treat exam correctly and you will pass it successfully.

I passed the BCMSN exam last month and I am very satisfied with the exam result. But, the most important thing is that I passed the exam and became a real CCNP engineer.

Here, I will share my experience with you.

About the preparation:

I spent about five weeks on the exam, the first four weeks are mainly spent on the important knowledge of the exam to accumulate good theoretical basics. The last week was mainly spent on doing tests to examine how you master the knowledge points and know of the exam.

About the exam:

The time is very rich, so you should not be anxious to answer. I think passing the exam is easy if you prepare completely. The question is how much score you can get.

I took the exam of 642-812 last week and scored 964/1000.

I think the most important chapters are Implement VLANs and Conduct the operation of Spanning Tree protocols in a hierarchical network. Of course, this is my understanding of the exam.

Hi all

I passed the exam of 642-812 on 17th December,2008 and scored 942/1000.

Refer to the exam subjects, 85% are basic, 15% are a little difficult, but this will not affect your passing the exam.

I spent less time to prepare for the exam, so I have not mastered the knowledge points solidly. But I was so lucky that I used the P4S tests which deepened my understanding of HSRP and VRRP bothering me before.

So, I advise you to emphasize on the preparation, it is necessary to pass the exam successfully.
