CCIE Storage Networking Express

Step 1: Obtain CCNA certificate

Degree of Difficulty:

CCNA is an entry-level certification belonging to Cisco after-sale engineer certified system. As to general people, CCNA involves basic network knowledge and devices supported by CISCO system. The ccurriculum learning cycle is around one to three months.
At present, there are two channels to take the examination:

• 1.Take the examination of 640-802.
• 2.Take two examinations of 640-822 and 640-816.

Step 2: Obtain CCNP certificate

Degree of Difficulty:

CCNP certification validates competency as a network professional in the areas of installation, configuration and troubleshooting of integrated LAN and WAN from 100 nodes to more than 500 nodes. With rich knowledge and skills, network professional earning CCNP certification is capable of managing core network devices of routers and switches, as well as the edge applications of the voice, wireless and security integration into the network.
At present, there are two channels to take the examination:

• 1.Take four examinations of 642-901, 642-812, 642-825 and 642-845.
• 2.Take three examinations of 642-892, 642-825 and 642-845.

Step 3: Obtain CCIE SNA certificate

Degree of Difficulty:

CCIE Storage Networking Architecture certification validates the expertise as networking professional of using intelligent storage solution to expand network infrastructure by multiple transmission modes (such as Fiber Channel, iSCSI, FCIP and FICON). Storage networking expansion is able to enhance the disaster recovery capability, optimize performance and take full advantage of all kinds of network services, such as volume management, data replication, as well as tight integration with blade servers and storage devices.
At present, the exam consists of two parts:

• 1.Take the written exam: 350-040.
• 2.Take the lab-based practical exam.
