How to obtain CCIE Security certificate?
Step 1: Get the CCNA Certificate

CCNA is the Cisco entry-level certification for after-sales engineers. Generally speaking, CCNA involves the basic networking knowledge and knowledge of Cisco devices. It will cost you 1-3 months to learn this course.

Degree of Difficulty:
CCNA Security exam tests a candidate's knowledge of securing Cisco routers and switches and their associated networks. It leads to validated skills for installation, troubleshooting and monitoring of network devices to maintain integrity, confidentiality and availability of data and devices and develops competency in the technologies that Cisco uses in its security infrastructure.
At present, the way to obtain this certificate is:

Step 3: Get the CCSP Certificate
Degree of Difficulty:
CCSP validates advanced knowledge and skills required to secure Cisco networks. With a CCSP certification, a network professional demonstrates the skills required to secure and manage network infrastructures to protect productivity, mitigate threats, and reduce costs.
At present, there are three methods to obtain this credential:
- 1. Take exams 642-504, 642-524, 642-533 and 642-591.
- 2. Take exams 642-504, 642-524, 642-533 and 642-545.
- 3. Take exams 642-504, 642-524, 642-533 and 642-515.
Step 4: Get the CCIE Security Certificate
Degree of Difficulty:
The CCIE certification in security indicates that individuals are experts both in the fundamentals of IP and IP routing, as well as in all the specific areas of security protocols and applications.
At present, there are two methods to obtain this certificate:
