How to obtain the CCDE certificate?

Step 1: Get the CCNA Certificate

CCNA is the Cisco entry-level certification for after-sales engineers. Generally speaking, CCNA involves the basic networking knowledge and knowledge of Cisco devices. It will cost you 1-3 months to learn this course.
At present, there are two approaches to get this certificate:

• 1. Take the exam 640-802
• 2. Take exams 640-822 and 640-816

It may be said here that CCNA certificate is not a prerequisite to obtain CCDA certificate, but you must have CCNA level knowledge. So, pass4sure advises you to prepare for CCDA after getting CCNA, then twice as much can be accomplished with half the effort.

Step 2: Get the CCDA Certificate

Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA®) validates apprentice knowledge required to design a Cisco converged network. With a CCDA certification, a network professional demonstrates the skills required to design routed and switched network infrastructures and services involving LAN, WAN, and broadband access for businesses and organizations. The CCDA curriculum includes designing basic campus, data center, security, voice, and wireless networks.
At present, the method to obtain this certificate is:

• 1. Take the exam 640-863.

Step 3: Get the CCDP Certificate

The CCDP certification indicates advanced or journeyman knowledge of network design. With a CCDP, a network professional can design routed and switched networks involving LAN, WAN, and dial access services, applying modular design practices and making sure the whole solution responds optimally to the business and technical needs and is designed to be highly available.
At present, there are two methods to obtain the CCDP certificate:

• 1. Take exams 642-901, 642-812 and 642-873.
• 2. Take exams 642-892 and 642-873.

Step 4: Get the CCDE Certificate

The Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) certification identifies networking professionals who have expert-level knowledge and skills in network design. CCDE certification emphasizes network design principles and theory at the infrastructure level. This prestigious credential recognizes expertise of network designers who can support the increasingly complex networks of global organizations by effectively translating business strategies into evolutionary technical strategies.
At present, there are two steps to obtain the CCDE certificate:

• 1. Take the qualification written exam: 352-001.
• 2. Take the Lab exam.
