This individual designs and develops solutions in a RUP-driven software development process. As part of their designs, this individual is able to incorporate existing code and reusable assets in their projects. In addition, this individual leverages the extensibility features of RSA including the use of patterns, profiles and transformations. It is expected that this individual is familiar with using RSA in a team environment and is familiar with ways in which to structure their models for team sharing and use of the RSA capabilities for supporting team development. It is expected that this solution designer will generally be self-sufficient and able to perform the tasks involved in the role with limited assistance from peers, product documentation and vendor support services.
